Moving Saskatoon bush

I have a large Saskatoon bush in my backyard and I want to move it to another spot. It sits basically by itself and consists of about 8 “stocks” coming out of the ground. I plan on digging it up and splitting it into 3 parts. I am hoping someone on here has done this and can offer help. When to do it is the biggest question in my mind. I have heard to do it now while it is flowering. What do you think? Thanks. BEL

I’ve moved saskatoons that were about 3 years old, about 1m high. I did it when they were dormant (fall) which is the best time. They barely made
It. The extensive root system was damaged when I dug it up.

I would not move the bush now. Wait until fall. Get as much of the roots as you can.

I figured I should wait till the dormant period also. But, someone said do it now so the roots have time to re root. BEL

can trimmed down to make it more manageable then moved , fall its the best time to moved.. it will re-root in the spring time

I would also wait my saskatoon's trees are already showing the berries coming out so I would assume it has already flowered, I wasn't home last two weeks so I may have missed the flowering.

trans planting from arborist put A ribbon on the north side of existing location and replant the north side to the north side. i have tried this in the pass an it worked. its about what side of the leaves see more or less sun while it is growning
