Default Travers Reservoir

Hi all, I am new to walleye/pike/perch/burbot fishing and was looking to go to Travers Reservoir. My question is this: is it possible to fish Travers from shore since I don't have a boat? With such a large lake, I am trying to figure out how to approach finding the fish.

Thanks in advance for guiding a newbee fisherman!

lots of people shore fish on the north end by the spillway.

just make sure you arent fishing from the rocks on the spillway itself. thats illegal.
