Default Snare support wires

What do you all use for snare support wires?
Some guys like to premake them with rebar or wooden stakes with #9 or #11 wire on them. What method works for you?
I was going to go and cut some rebar and tack weld a few together with wire on them.

The first year I snared coyotes I thought I was smart and for a year I collected drycleaning coat hangers and used that to tie around trees and bushes. It worked well but I think putting together some premade stakes would be best.

I use as much natural support and avoid adding anything manmade as much as possible. I may run a support wire of boiled and descented mechanics wire. Willows, branches, tree limbs, or perhaps barbed wire (if already in place) work well.

I'm not sure what you mean by support wires.

I've heard that some guys use a large loop and therefor need to support the loop.

I use a small loop and don't need to support the loop itself.

The only wires I use are the wires, or rather, wire, that attaches the loop to the drag. For that I use haywire. Some call it machinists wire or mechanics wire, but haywire is considerably thicker.

Mechanics wire is typically 16 gauge or thinner, Hay wire is typically 14 gauge or thicker.
I prefer 16 gauge.
