Default Idea - Trapping Gear for Sale

Hey Mods,

We have several different sections on this forum for assorted equipment for sale but not one for "Trapping Gear for Sale". Some of us who are new to trapping may be looking for used gear (I am) to get the equipment we need to get going without going all out for brand new stuff. I know we can't have a category for every outdoor sport but just throwin' it out there. Just an idea - what are your thoughts folks? Thanks in advance.

Default Waste of time

There is precious little trapping stuff for sale....if you want to see what an empty forum looks like then set up a trapping buy and sell.

Sorry...X2
If anyone has something to sell, just put it here.. There is little enough action here as it is. I'm even finding it difficult to get any debate going the last while, must have to do with "feline abuse"......

I dont think trapping stuff is frequently sold either...I don't think a trapper will sell much until he is done trapping, therefore will hang on to all of it or none of it. Defintely true for my father and I.

Default trap gear

should have found this site 10 years ago i had to deal with the wannabe,s when i wanted to sell out my trapping gear and there was a lot, i offered to show them how to trap etc. i don.t think i will like skinning was the reply [by] i had a hard time to give beaver carcass's away there again wannabe's wouldn't show up or i can,t put them in my new jacked up dodge and yes i am a bear guide duh lots of people came from B.F but here on the forum for the most part people are serious of the outdoors and it would have gone way smoother for me to sell because members share here and i like that wealth of knowledge and contacts available at the touch of a key

Default Traps

Noticed a few people are using duke 110 traps. Be careful only legal underwater an not be used in the houses or pushups. A fish & wildlife officer told me they are not certified and he would charge me if he caught me using them in the houses
