I've got a buddy who is slowly losing his battle to cancer. In helping out his Missus in preparing for the inevitable, she has put me in charge of getting an appraisal on his pistols.
I'm not a pistol guy, so I'm wondering if there is anyone who has a link, or can offer some kind of guidance in this.
He has 3 pistols that make the prohibited list (barrels under 4.1")
Sig Sauer P228 9mm
Sig Sauer P230 9mm
IAI 380 9mm Kurz Back Up
All three are in nearly new condition.
I'm not looking for advice on storage or proper licensing. We have that covered. Nor is she not looking to sell them as yet.
Any help is appreciated.

Some very nice pistols. Unfortunately, them being 12.6, the value will be less then the restricted varieties from what I understand. Best to head over to Canadiangunnutz and ask there. I'm sure you'll have LOTS of feedback.
An uninformed rough guestimate, would be around $500 per pistol, give or take....

Both Sigs, will bring a good dollar....I dont know much about the last one. As stated CGN would give you a better idea, and pics would be very good.
Sorry about your friend also. And yes, be prepared for some disappointment. I remember having to sell a dillinger one time..practically had to give it away . Good luck to you and your friend!
Well my Buddy's time came, and he went peacefully in his sleep.
His widow has asked me to help her sell these pistols, so if anyone has any interest, drop me a PM for details. Price will need to be discussed with her, but she has indicated she will not turn down a fair offer.
So anyone with a "Prohibited" endorsement on their PAL looking for a few new pistols?
