Default Gunsmith to remove cerakote

I purchased a Browning Ti 7mm08 from a member who got the gun from other person and long story short they original owner did not like the stainless look to it so had it cerakoted black. I kinda like the shine so would like it back to stainless. I was wondering if anyone knows a gunsmith that would look at doing it? I did ask a gunsmith I deal with and he was a bit concerned to do it as if the gun was anodized it could cause problems. That said wouldn't mind a second opinion.

Thanks in advance.

In not schooled in gun barrels or anything... but why would you need rust protection on stainless steel? Isn't the whole point of stainless that it doesn't rust?

Stainless steel can still rust , not like a like a standard steel though.
It will be no problem to remove the cerakote. There are 2 options , one have it sand blasted off or 2 just polish it off with emery cloth or other abrasive paper .
Sandblasting it will be a matte finish and polishing it of course will be shiny .

Default Blast

Cerakote is tough stuff, emery cloth would take some work. Sand blasting would work fine, but sand would result in a really crappy finish. Blast with 120 Aluminum oxide, then with medium glass.
