The only realy difference I have ever found in killing between different cartridges was shot placement.
If the shot was good in the heart lungs or CNS, the critter died,
If it wasn't, it didn't matter what the animal was shot with, they ran.
This is with everything from 243's to 45/90's , straight walled to belted magnums.

It's a very nice cartridge. I like to load 139gr SSTs for practice and 120gr TTSX @ 3100 fps for hunting.
