Bolt fluting
I recall some time ago there was a fellow on her offering bolt fluting
my son is looking to have his bolt done any info would be helpful

It was Scotty454 and I think he doesn't have access to the machinery to do it any more.

He gave me the option to send it either way. I sent it complete and the picture of the fluting is his. He sent the picture to me when he completed the work.

I see pictures of fluted barrels in the fluting section on his webpage so I am guessing yes. Or contact him directly, his email and phone number are on his webpage on the link I posted earlier.

The man built TWO highwall actioned forearms from scratch , one a shotgun in 410 and thd other in the wildcat 30/303.
He really does know his stuff!

I saw that thread on CGN amazing stuff. Nice to see a local guy with some youth carrying the torch and offering quality rifle smithing to AB/CDN shooters.
