Well guys I picked up my holster today and I have to say it is really awesome. A lot of thought went into it and the care and craftsmanship is very excellent. Being able to have one of these in a custom left-hand model is a great thing!

If any of you had reservations about picking one up I can tell you there is no need to hold back. There may be some new designs coming out aswell so check back often.

Default Quick edge samples:

For edges guys, I can do alot of themes and ideas. My free hand tooling is still coming on but here are some quick edges I threw onto some scrap leather today to give you all ideas of what I can put along the edge of the holsters for those wanting one.

*If you have another idea in mind - ASK ! and I will try to find a way to make it or come close. It's your holster - I want it to be personal as best I can.

Hey guys,

Here's a quick video to demonstrate the way my holster sit on the hip, move with you as you wear them & how they are with drawing/holstering.

The 'Mare's utility boot'.
When you get one of these designed I'm in for one (mine's a lowly 357, assume it will fit?). I want something to strap onto a backpack for hiking the backcountry.

I haven't had time to mock up the next prototypes - been kept busy making the version 1.0 & 2.0 for people - lol.

I will get around to making the first scabbard when I can.

I have LOTS of pictures to upload from recent orders - just finished another 4 and I check my pm's... 3 more ordered !

Here's one of the latest finished holsters waiting for pickup from a great guy (local buyer). (Excuse the iPhone quality pics)

I did a couple higher end ones (more time on the finishing and details) I will post them as soon as I have time to convert the file format for the web..**Teaser... they are both BLACK and look amazing.....**

Those of you that have had a chance to try out your 'Mare's Boots', I would like the feedback of how you find them wearable, useable, look, finish etc. only way I can let others know what they are like and make little changes to improve if I can.

** and yes... I am working on a pattern for a scabbard that will go on a pack/belt/shoulder sling/saddle. (but they will be a lot more expensive with the hours to make and materials)

I made it 1/2 cm wider for your Henry, I'm curious to see how it fits!

Here's one of the higher finished holsters made recently, full hand carving to the owners & my discussion, metal conchos, higher grade leather (few blemishes), edges worked much longer.

More of a 'show' holster than working one. I offered to add alot more details to the holster but the buyer wanted it 'slick' simple. Pictures don't do it justice.

Great work, I like the look of all of them, but this one definitely has that "duster" look to it.

Default I need I need!

I sent you a PM and hope you are still making these bad boys for the Big boys!
I just picked up a 45 Long Colt with a hexagonal barrel and a brass body.
One of these leg holsters would finish the package right up!
I hope we can do some business!

Ok... How much would I be looking at for a holster to carry my Rossi Puma.. Longer than the Ranch Hand. Basically same as a 94... Would like it as a back holster. Want to be able to pack my 44 mag and my scoped 270 for the long walks... Let me know what you think it would run.

I would have to see the rifle, make some measurements & mock up a product (I'm still new to leather work - this is a hobby around my fulltime job - lol).

Trying to find the time to make a prototype multi-use Ranch Hand holster/scabbard for a bunch of people requesting. Once that is done, should be easy to just adjust a few measurements - ez
