crowsnest lake shore fishing?

Maybe ill try crowsnest lake shore fishing.....can i do this? Do i cast far? Are smelts the best thing to use? maybe island campground area?

do i just use a pickeral rig?

fish from shore at the big parking area before kozy nest cabins.
use a smelt with a jig & a stinger hook. make sure you have a stinger on.
