Perhaps you can compress the size of your pic's a bit, they take forever to open.

Tks

Nov 11th ... still no ice on Sylvan, lots of honkers on lake. Got a pic of these carcass pickers that appear to be a bit frustrated that old Skinny's hide is frozen & they can't get a bite.

Hey, D.

Could you let me know how to do that, rookie, here!

I am uploading the pics to IMGUR, then I copy from the Direct Link tab and upload from the Insert Image icon here?

Thanks, when are you going to start ice fishing on Sylvian? Can't wait to try your Teeny Jig Pumkin technique on Trout. Cheers

Great looking Healthy Lynx looking for rabbits

Noth40

Use the BBC code, paste it direct into the thread. At bottom of code list select original to get the largest high definition phot possible, huge thumbnail to get biggest picture at lower resolution for posting, or others for progressively smaller.

When I was talking about film speed, the ISO setting on Digital cameras, is set to be equivalent to the old film speeds of 100 ASA, 200 etc. The higher the film speed, or ISO the faster a shutter speed or smaller aperture opening you can use but the graininess also increases. On the old film stock, you could not blow up 800 ASA film very far before you lost clear resolution. Same with ISO, you can blow up 100 ISO far more and keep great sharpness, than you can 800 ISO setting.

Direct Link
Markdown Link (reddit comments)
HTML (website / blogs)
BBCode (message boards & forums)
Linked BBCode (message boards)
Sizes: Original · Small Square · Big Square · Small Thumbnail · Medium Thumbnail · Large Thumbnail · Huge Thumbnail

Same picture from Imgur, selecting Original for the size 1583x795, then small Square. Notice the difference in picture size from the first picture which is Large thumbnail 1024x459 vs original.

On imgur, click on the pic, then go to the link second from bottom, says for message boards, then copy/paste that link.

Be sure to click on the size you want also....640 x 480.

Dean2 - That lynx shot is top notch. Neither bear nor lynx have wandered in front of me at the farm yet - maybe never will.

As others have detailed, seems photos must be submitted to a forum in a method proven to work.
A possible limitation of viewing photos on a forum is the viewing tool. Most cell phones are not smart enough to fit an image onto its display. Cell downloads can be painfully slow with poor results. An I-pad or lap top is one step better, but still limited with a smaller display. A PC with Mac or Win 10 is smarter yet, thus less frustrating.

Few more of my Sony RX10 shots:

White Tail called to my Pileated Woodpecker call

Female Pileated Woodpecker

Young Bullwinkle trying to look majestic

Rose Breasted Grosbeak Male

Default Heifer moose

Heifer moose poke out on trail I just walked. I had watered a spot only 12m from my chair under the eave of a cabin where I watch a bird feeder. She comes 3-4m closer and sniffs the wet spot. Unimpressed she ambles across just behind the bird feeder.

Those are some amazing pics. Each and every one unique on it's own. A lot of pics look like they are actually posing or showing off. Great work people.

Nope, that’s not him. He’s quite a bit bigger than this one.
