Default Mercury OptiMaxx ran out of fuel

Now it will not start. Anyone know what to do to get it going?

Is there a ball in the fuel line?
Most rig ups still have it even though there's a fuel pump. Try pumping it up till it's hard and then keep pumping it while turning the engine over.

If they removed the ball you'll have to cycle the key (to cycle the fuel pump) several times to refill the separator and then the fuel lines.

*edit* I'm assuming it turns over and is not starting?

Shot of fuel in the carbs. Sounds like the fuel pump needs to be primed or maybe there is a reset fuse for the fuel pump? Just a guess.

It's an Optimax. There is no carb.

Maybe a shot in the dark but disconnect the battery and maybe program will reset when you hook it up.

Cycle the key several times for the fuel pump to build pressure before cranking.

OP is pretty quiet...

Either still buried in the engine, or busy ripping across the lake....

1 inch short of 5 ft. Never said this before but I would for sure need to see pic's and if someone did indeed land a monster like that it would for sure be posted somewhere. Think I'll go surfin.
