Default Barnes TTSX vs Hornady GMX

Hey everyone.

I have been using hornady interbond since i started reloading but am looking to switch. I tried the hornady sst and they didn't group to well. Wondering if i should choose ttsx or the gmx for deer and elk.

Thanks.

I chose the TTSX over the GMX, because they group better in my rifles, but you could hardly go wrong with tbe GMX, if they shoot well in your rifle. Just be sure to choose a bullet weight that will provide adequate impact velocity at the distances that you might shoot at a game animal. The monmetal bullets in general, tend to perform best at higher velocities.

Both are pretty good bullets, I would try both and see which shoots best.

I shoot both GMX and SST's out of my rifle , both group exactly the same ,yours may not like the GMX either if it doesn't favour the SST . Never know unless you try .
