Well I finally broke down and registered my rifle, not because I wanted to but because it was the lesser of two evils. I am going into the camp wainwright base for a deer hunt and I dont want the army boys asking for a certificate I dont have. I dont think the wardens will hassle me about it during the season but I feel like I just agreed with this law even though I dont. Thank you federal government. My world just got a lot safer because they now know I'm a hunter with a registered gun.

You can't beat these idiots, they will trudge forward with this useless program....and they'll never eat crow, you and I both ( and everyone else) know that, so what can we do?
Vote them out of power !! .......Canadian hunters ( and WE are MANY) need to stand together on this issue and show the Liberals what we can do when you don't listen to our voices. Heaven knows that we shouted long and loud .......only to fall on deaf ears. LETS THANK THEM FOR THEIR GUN REGISTRATION PROGRAM come election time>:

Default registratin

I believe who we vote in wouldnt make much difference after all it was the PCs who started it and now the Libs who are carrying the money pit banner.

The PC's initiated the requirement for a FAC. The Lib's alone are responsible for you having to register you hunting guns.

Default Liberals will never leave without a "united right"

As every sensible Canadian knows, the registration system is one of the most useless pieces of legisaltion in Canadian history. Photo-radar comes close but I can not rant and rave on that (I hate the city life)
It is great to talk about voting out the liberals, but with the competition so fragmented it will never happen. It does not matter if you are CA or PC, both sides have to make some compromises and form one party.
Both sides have got to bend some of their "ideals", and accept the fact that they will never gain power standing alone on the right side.
Only if we finally come together will this registration program be placed back where it came from...the liberals asses.

Just a couple thoughts that are somewhat off topic.
