Default Fishing tomorrow with weather front

Well, got a fishing trip planned tomorrow northwest of Edmonton and now the weather looks like its going to take a turn for the worst... Not afraid of snow or cold, but thinking the fishing might be crappy with the low pressure and wind. What's your guys thoughts on fishing a weather front?

Default Where to go?

I have tomorrow all set for fishing too but with the word on the weather wasn't sure where to head now. Where is everyone going regardless of the weather tomorrow?

The fish could be a little lethargic with the weather I guess. If you guys are going to park on a lake don't forget to keep your eye on the snow depth so you can still drive off. I plan on sledding.

General information says when the barometric pressure is moving to a low front fishing sucks.

I might head out there if we get enough snow. There's a bit of range road that I have to drive down in spots and right now it's bare and it'd wreck my skis. Maybe if I come in from the north via Legal that would work. I'll definitely stop by if I end up out that way.

We should be on the north to northwest side of the lake. Probably the bay south of my cabin. Double hub frabill tent.

So how was/is the fishing out that way today. So much for the snow storm......I'm on AO instead of sledding.

Default Try one of your other hobbies.

Not the time to fish unless you have no other hobbies. If that is the case then a line in the water no matter what the weather is a great days fishing. Poor fishing days have their best foot forward when I have company so you might want to hook up with a buddy. Be sure to take a spare shovel as well. Then if you do get stuck he or she can help get you on your way again.

Its actually pretty good the pike are aggresive today. I didn't think you would make it out we got ripped off with no snow. Walleye should show up pretty soon, the wife is outfishing me 4-1 and reminding me all about it!

I was at wab today. Hardly anyone out. I got three and two were around ten lbs. Finally iced a couple nice ones. I seen one down the hole that was huge... The biggest pike I have ever seen. He wanted nothing to do with my bait unfortunately lol

I've had excelent fishing on a number of ocasions while the barometer was falling. IMO its once the barometer has fallen, or shortly afterwards, that the fishing realy slows down. Just prior to and durring the fall has typicaly been good to me.
