Default Lottery: What's the most you've ever won?

Thought it would be interesting to see who buys what lotto tickets and whats the most you've ever won. With the lotto max up to $50 million plus 9 $1,000,000 prizes, gets me curious as to how many tickets people buy and how much money they spend for a chance to win. I spend about $10 a week on tickets and the most I've won was $50 on a set for life ticket.

I used to play lots. But have never won anything. I am good at donating to other peoples winnings.

Most I've won is $10 on the national 6/49.

That sounds like a lot of money, but with the economy the way it is there isn't a whole lot to spread around. You buy a house, a few nice toys, go on a couple of nice trips, help the kids out a little, and then you have to squirrel the rest away and live reasonably frugally if you don't want to have to work again. There certainly isn't enough to start giving hand-outs to everyone you know. Shame on your family and "so called" friends.

I've won $2 a few times on scratch 'n' wins

#1 son's paternal grandfather (who has now passed on) won money in the 6-49 twice within one year. One was around 100k and the other time it was around 50k. This was in the very early 80s mind you: when 40k bought you a pretty nice house.

Buy 2 Lotto 6-49 tickets weekly for Wed and Sat draws $5.00 each =$10.00
Byt 2 Western tickets weekly fo Wed and sat draws $5.00 each =$10.00
Buy 1 Lotto max ticket weekly for Fri draw $6.00 each = $10.00
Buy these weekly never miss
When the prizes get larger I will spend $30 to $40.00 a week
Largest prize I have win is about $126.00 but win a lot of 10.00 free plays and $20.00 payouts. All in all I am still down But the way I look at it if you dint play you can not win. Quite drinking in 88 and smoking in 85 so I am still way ahead by playing the lottery. Also go to the casino about once evey 4 months and take $1000.00 to play. Have only lost once at these come home most of the time way ahead. Also play VLT once a week with a $40.00 limit' Slightly ahead at this game.

Default I am just special....

I play lotteries about 6-7 times a year for as long as I've been married.

I won once..... 10$ on a 6-49 the day we got married.

Its turned into a 20 year joke between me and my wife. When $$ gets tight (about 6-7 time/year) I pick up a lotto 7 or 6-49 and slip it to her.

She then refuses to check it for a month. We then laugh at yet another non-winner.

The gods are clear... I will never be rich.

I won $5000.00 twice when I lived in BC and played Keno. Won 2 more times at $2500.00 each on that game as well. 649, hmmm...I think I won $100.00 once. I always play the 649, the western and lotto max for about $32.00 a week. Still waiting for my retirement plan to come in! LOL!!

Actually, where I work, 26 people won a $13mill. Super-7 jackpot. Unfortuneatly it was before I started. The company only lost 5 employees. The rest are still working but then 1/2 a mill. doesn't go that far anymore huh?

I play once a week and the most I ever won was $76 on the 6/49 a few months back

funny this came up as I have been on a roll the last 3 tickets $12, $10 and $2

...my lowest odds winning was when I was a child..4 or 5 years old and my parents always had alpha betz in the house for breakfast and on the back of the box there was the grand prize of a BMX bike ..so naturally I cut out the UPC and mailed it in...and sure enough I win the fancy bike.

....3 years later when I big enough to ride and after a few weeks of showing it off to classmates... my mother backs over it.

No, it was a group at John's Manville in Innisfail. Good thing that they won too, as that is how I managed to get hired. One of the millwrights that won retired. Well that and my stunning personality! LOL!!

I have only ever played the Scratch 'n' Win ones and have never won big. Lots of $2 and $10 winnings, I think $20 was the most ever.

most I have won is about $153. Now if I had of played my #'s on the wed instead of waiting for the saturday bonus draw (about 15yrs ago) i could have won just over 76,000. Ah but alas I am cursed to be forever poor. And now when I don't play I sure as heck don't look at the numbers to see if I could have won.

The wife did win 19,000 playing bingo and won the satalite. but I'm sure she gave all that back by now. haha.

Rarely play lotto, odds are too heavily stacked against. One of the few games you can control your odds is poker. Placed 11th out of 742 and two months ago won a poker tourney in Vegas. Nothing big but enough to pay for a good portion of holidays.

Friday I bought a $3 dollar scratch ticket and won $100 think it was the biggest I have won.

Both my grandparents have won $100,000 twice each.

I only charge $1 million to fish for perch. Guaranteed to catch one or your next trip is free. Make sure you pass this along to her

My biggest lotto win was winning the heart of a great gal, winning some great friends and winning 3 healthy kids with spunk...with a bonus that all three will fish if the fishing is good.

Well, this one may take the cake. All of our fishing charter clients take their fish to a fish processor/smoker called Hardy Buoys...some of the best smoked salmon you'll ever have. Well, they just expanded this past year hugeeeee...and as they were doing this their Manager won the $26,000,000 last year...and quit...so they were in quite the pickle! He actually decided to buy into the company so he owns a part of it now...how quickly things change...from being manager of the place to owning a minority piece in it...I think even nowadays $26million goes a long way!!!!

Won 2800 and change in 2002 a week before leaving for a year long backpacking trip around the world. I sure helped. I won 300 at bingo once. 2, 10 and 50's a few times. Free tickets. Try every week on 6/49(twice) lotto max, and payday.
I don't smoke crack - i play the lotto....

The lotteries are just a tax for people that are too dumb to understand math.
