Default Anyone fish near Liard Hot Springs?

Hey guys and gals.
I’m headed up to Liard hot springs late August or early September for a trip. I was wondering if anyone fished the Liard or Trout river in the area and how’d you do?
I’m looking for sheefish mostly, but not opposed to anything else that eats my fly or spoon.
Any insight would be awesome, as I’ve Google-fu’d it quite a bit and have little to show.

Thanks

It's been 20 years but used to fish there on occasion; caught Arctic Greyling and trout on the fly.

Check out the fishing just north of the hot spring on the Smith river from the mouth up to the Falls. I had good luck there and enjoy the trip!!
