Default Pheasant God's shined down on us today with Melanistics

Took my friends out for pheasants today and it was a day to remember. Zeus was amazing once again flushing multiple birds and 3 of which were Melanistic. Got our limit and then were able to help out another hunter get his 2. It was a day in the field I will never forget. The Melanistics in flight is something that will be etched in my memory forever. Pictures don't show the true beauty of these birds. I will go through my gopro footage hopefully I have some good stuff. Attached some pictures hopefully they work.

Good job fellas and congrats on the Bonus melanistic. I thought i read they only release 4 melanistics among 86 Roosters each release.
The other ring necks have decent tail feather length as well.

Awesome! Was really hoping to connect on one this year, but at least get to see a few pictures!

Thanks for sharing and congrats!

I wonder what the odds are of any of these melanistic birds surviving the year and adding in to the wild genetics?

DR
