Do you have and can you run a volt meter?
Can you remove the 2 wires from the thermostat and cross them at the furnace? That will tell you if it is the thermostat. It is basically an on off switch unless it is a 3 wire with cooling.
Just reread 2- are they on single or dual thermostats?

Won’t turn on or won’t fire? Reg may need to be reset if it’s the latter (and an older reg)

Take the furnace filters out. Replace after turning power back on. Make sure water coming out to drain is not backed up. Make sure vent to outside is not shut off. Turn breaker off to furnace and thermostat. Check thermostat is not set to air condition by accident.

Turn on your gas fireplace in the meantime, if you have one.

High or mid efficiency.? Ie pilot or no pilot.
Is the bottom door back on to close the safety switch?
Did you try resetting the breaker?
There is a fuse on the board behind the lower door, but doubtful they both blew at the same time.
Thermostat: 1 for each or 1 for both?
If I was closer I'd come by, but if you can answer the above would help a lot.

Electronic thermostat or mechanical? So you have a voltage tester to verify voltage to the furnaces? Is there a reset on the furnaces.

Chances are if there was any type of surge, than the circuit board may be toast. I would also check the battery in the thermostat (if it requires one). It may be dead and not giving the call for heat when turned from off to the desired temperature. If there are no lights on inside the furnace my guess is the circuit board.

Trace the electrical line coming out of the furnace back to the switch, turn it off - wait 5 seconds - turn back on.
Is your thermostat analog or digital ?

Clean the thermocouple with a piece of sand paper. Don't touch it with bare hands tho. It will leave oil deposits.

Good to hear!
I just went through this with a York during that cold snap, except it wasn't the breaker.
Gotta say, I'll never buy a York. (And yes, I know brand had nothing to do with the problem. )
Stay warm!

Ignore this mans advice, its incorrect in at least three ways; even more depending on your type of furnace.

Now that I reread your last post, I find it odd that they ran both furnaces off of the same breaker....unless it's not a 15amp?
At 3x full load amps for start up on both motors you'd be way over 15 amps for a second or two. More like 40 to 60 amps depending on motor size.
I know the odds of them starting at the exact same time are astronomical, just surprised they used a common breaker.

It is a double pole breaker

They likely did this as both furnace power supplies are probably run into the same electrical box, its a safety thing as one does not want to shut off a breaker, then dive into the junction box and find there is still a live circuit in there. If each furnace had a separate junction box they could have individual breakers. If they're fed by a two 14/2 wires they can be split. If its a single 14/3 supplying both then it won't work without new wire pulled form the panel.

Yup. It's either an intentional troll post or the guys got absolutely no clue of what a thermocouple even is. He may have been instructed incorrectly and that fault would be someone else's, but it's still wrong regardless. I could dip the business end of a thermocouple in a 4 liter jug of oil for a month and it would work fine. Not the electrical connection end mind you, but the part the flame impinges upon.

I'd suggest anyone with these new furnaces have a spare mother board, igniter and vacuum switch on hand. The law of Murphy says that you're furnace will eff up on a Saturday night on the coldest day of the year.
