I wish the other 2 would let Harper say something without cutting in, interrupting and talking over him.

Trudeau seems to be getting the most air time, and not saying much we don't already know.

The only entertaining part is seeing Trudeau and Mulcair going after each other.

Good thing I'm not moderating it; I'd have booted Trudeau and Mulcair's sorry butts out of there by now - just for not knowing how to debate, but they are pretty good at arguing talking points.

Default Tonight

Trudeau was shouting desperation all night.

Mulcair was babble talking without substance.

Harper spoke clearly and actually answered questions. He was confident and not rude.

About sums up the candidates and their platforms.

The media has been campaigning against Harper for years. They hate him because he doesn't suck up to them and he has been slowly strangling the sacred cow of the CBC.

Trudeau or Mulcair would be a disaster for Canada.

Yea, I was swinging at the TV as well at those rude, unprofessional buffoons!!! Man that boils my blood. Yet because Harper was calm and professional, the bone heads that will vote for the others will just think of him as "weak" because they are not mature enough themselves to understand what "professional" is.

Trudeau did not explain why his deficits are better than the ones Harper had to table during the global recession. He doesn't show how he will buy our way out of a massive deficit or what his gamble and hope is for where growth will come from.

Mulcair didn't show how he was going to not get greedy and tax more and more while in power. He exemplifies a government that feels they can spend your money better than you. He will hope raising taxes won't stifle job creation.

Hope is not a strategy. Mulcair and Trudeau's plans will fail.

Harper has a strategic plan. It got us out of one recession. It will work to get us out of the next. The plan was the best in the world as we recovered faster than others.

All governments have bad people as not all people are good. No reason to ditch the plan. Harper runs a tight ship. That is good as a goverment on a lose ships steers wildly and falters and sinks.

Liberals and NDP have little facts to say they could of done anything better. So they attack Harper personally at the same time say they don't like all the negativity in parliament.

Gotta say however there are lots that have swallowed the socialist agenda. So batten down the hatches all. We are in for a bumpy tax grab and bait and switch whichever alternate gets in.

What came out for me: Mulcair and Trudeau not fans of personal accountability.

You made terrible decisions and racked up a ton of debt? That's ok, the taxpayers will bail you out.

2 sleazeballs with stupid ideas.

Sure hope so, if the country has to go through what Alberta is about to go through we are all in big trouble. The socialist agenda just doesn't work IMHO.

Default Going Blue....

Sometimes what's better for few is NOT what is better for most....I'm not going to get into details about it,however after long talks with my wife and a few relatives from Alberta and eastern Canada we are all voteing again for the Conservative party.

Harper Ain't perfect IMO,however some of the other party's plans got me upset as of late.

Eitherway I'll be happy once this election is over and it's not what I hear about 24/7.

Hunting season is Just warming up,this is a great time of year and I can't wait to get out some more this fall and enjoy what our beautiful country/ province has to offer.

Mothercorp pundits made it sound like a win for Harper. The clips I say show Mulcair and Harper just on a different level. Mulcair gave Trudeau a knock out punch in the junk about complaining about deficits and then wanting to run one for 3 years. Trudeau just resembled his angry old man after that without the intellect. Harper was clear and direct, was in good Harper form. Held Mulcair in headlock when discussing his trip to Washington to rail on the Oilsands. Harper's message on security put him pedestal as leader who champions security as paramount in the interests of Canadians.

What stood out to me was the moderator Repeatedly asking mulcair and trdo for actual Numbers.

Neither could come up with any, both sidestepped and rambled instead of answering every time.

Painfully obvious mulcair is courting the urban TO vote, he was saying anything he could think of to get that uber urban lefty vote.

Mr. Harper stating easily traced numbers and sound plans based in reality and using logic and good business sense; the other two really saying absolutely nothing of substance and no actual stratedgy, just whimsical sound bites.

Default What's with JT s hair ..

I thought the pony had a little less shine on him last night , the hair was
Pretty flat , I figure make up to make him look less juvenile .
Or just haggard ,that campaigning is just tough on a girl , day after day
Thinking ,talking ,remembering yesterday's lies ....phewwww.!

If you are part of the very small part of the Canadian public who can match
Substance with results ,then to call this a debate is ludicrous .
Mulcair like most arrogant frogs is a 3 dressed up as a nine . There s
Nothing worse than a Pepsi who thinks he's smart . He has a train wreck of
A career . Only in Canada where no one wanted Jacks job could Tommy
Survive .
I'm off to find out what the Okotoks Mensa group thought .

NB....they are called Pepsi s because they are empty from the neck up .

Pop use to come in bottles ..
