So?

Shouldn't automatically make me a Flames fan.

Let's be honest with ourselves. Everyone knows the Flames have a better team then Edmonton.

Need flash - that was five years ago before the flames started collecting their pensions.

I've heard a lot mind boggling crap from Flames fans over the years but you take the cake. Are you seriously bragging about reaching 500 after beating a tired team on the second night of back to back games playing a scrub backup goalie? Are the Flames playing well right now...sure. Are they playing better than the Oil right now...maybe. Will they be a better, more exciting club to watch for the foreseeable future...No chance! Good job on the win, but dude you need to check yourself Son...

Calgary scored 7 goals on 23 shots. Must have been their outstanding play and not a sieve of a goalie in the Dallas net that won that one.

The 6 goals were scored on him, were good goals, not "sieve" goals. Nothing like the weak one Irving let in.

We played a great team, they had won 5 in a row and were playing good. We played Flames hockey last night and I expect more of the same tomorrow.

I expect Edmonton will continue to fall to last place, heck, if this was European soccer, Edmonton wouldn't even be in the big leagues, they would of been relegated to the minors years ago lol

Actually, when you look at the proof (stats) rather opinions, they are almost identical. Oilers have a few more points but have played a couple more games. They are both basically .500 teams who have let in 5 or 6 more goals than they have scored, Iggy isn't scoring, the Nuge isn't scoring. The Oilers already have a beloved former franchise icon who can no longer cut it and is now a healthy scratch. Might be a preview of what the Flames will have to deal with soon.

Really ???...You think dallas played good last night ? The first period dallas looked like my son's novice team, lol. Flames are lucky the oil tired them out for you...

Default Gotta give mutt respect

he's still sporting the Oil logo.

Gotta respect that.

The oil are playing poorly. Period. These guys can't put three solid periods together.

Last game they were pretty ok for the first two. The young guns lack grit to finish the job. They're being too pretty and it isn't working.

Yakopov has to learn how to pass the puck better than my son does in novice.

I'm wonderinng if there's now a drama distraction with Whitney and Smitty both scratched....... thats enough for a young team to lose focus.

relegating Hrodichuck was a mistake. They should have put a finess line, a grinder line and a 'Old style hockey' line on the ice.

No one is scared of the Oil... teams are going to once again manhandle the kids.... and the kids will get scared.

Looks whats happened to Nuge and Eberly over the last few games.
