Default Cold Lake Hotels

I'm heading down to cold lake next week with the old man for a few days of fishing. I typically camp at the PP, but we're looking at doing the hotel thing this year. Couple questions I have ....

-Is there a hotel on Lakeshore drive, or on the water anywhere? I seen a couple bed & breakfast, but I'd rather do our thing, grab a coffeee early and hit the water.
-Can a guy rent a spot at the marina if we're in and out for lunch kinda thing?
-I'm fine with a hotel in town but I seen some don't have parking for the boat, and I'd rather not leave it at the lake.

Thanks!

Marina View Hotel right across the street from the marina

Stayed there while I was working in CL good place to stay with two sports bars to eat at not sure about boat parking you could work something out.

I stand corrected it was called the Dock side Inn

For a cheap, convenient, decent hotel, I would recommend the Dockside Inn.
Across the street from the marina and easy to park around.
Random mooring can be had no the south side of the fuel pier but offers really no shelter, just a free place to tie to. First come, first served basis, and a pain to get up on to the dock from. With the water being high this year maybe not so bad.
There hasn't been hourly or daily mooring for years.
If you're not afraid of leaving your stuff, there is a small beach north of the marina pier that you can beach your boat on, but it gets a lot of visitors and can't be seen from anywhere except Clarke's, so be warned.
While there are thieves everywhere, I have never had a problem with my stuff near the marina. Having said that, don't leave anything out and nothing will get stolen.
Enjoy your trip and good luck.
