When I read that , my first thought was the guy was smart to not say anything as there is a good chance Singh would try and sue him for defamation or something like that.

what a coward to throw that out and then wuss out when called on it. Not a fan of singh at all but I will give him props for at least having the guts to call them out.

I agree staged and if not staged those cops should be fired.Think about it the worse thing a politician could do is to confront someone like that as no one knows who you are confronting and what could happen and the cops allowing him to get that close is ridiculous.Also in my view if it wasn t staged then how brave is Singh playing the badass bad guy with the cops backing him up.What was Singh going to do to the guy hit him with the cameras rolling and cops present.Just Siingh trying to pump up his image for the next election and some of the suckers will buy it
If it wasn t staged in my opinion Singh comes off like a bully knowing he has his back covered

Singh takes 6-7 steps towards the first guy. Then 2-3 more forward steps to get into the second guys kitchen. I don't have much reverse, glad it wasn't me.

I have to agree... the incident looks staged / fake. I also thought the same thing when Singh was verbally attacked by "the racist" and told to take his turban off during the election campaign a few years ago.

Why would he stage something that puts him in a bad light?
It says to the public that he’s weak.
A strong political figure would have kept walking.
Pretty sure he didn’t set this up to make himself look bad.
You or I may have turned around and confronted someone talking about our mamas but for a politician under scrutiny it would be political suicide to engage the guy.
Even just to turn around and get in his face would be detrimental to his career had the leafs fan got physical.

Apparently Singh does not usually have a security detail and has various martial arts training and wrestling experience. Probably not someone either of the fat guys would want to play around with. Listening to the audio and comparing voices I'd say it was the guy in the blue striped shirt that was doing the initial talking. He seemed to weasel his way out of it as soon as possible.

From now on everything is "staged", no one/party wants to defeat the government right now. If the government fell and there was an election your party needs a platform, money, lawn signs, volunteers, I'm sure that you get it.
This situation can go on for a long time, if there is going to be an election I'd guess the spring, but it could be next fall, no party seems to be in any rush.
It is best that there is a "wedge" issue, right now it is the carbon tax, I'm not sure that this has enough traction across the country, every body knows that governments can tax us when ever they want.
Immigration might work for the Libs, you could come up with a bill that the opposition would vote against and cause the government to fall, and send us into an election. If the libs played it right they might be able to steal from the bloc on this issue (admission of more French speaking immigrants.) I know that there are not lots of French immigrants that want to come here, but if Trump is right, there are millions of Spanish speaking willing immigrants right at the US border.
Keep a close eye on all of this, anything is possible. What you need is the right issue and a blunder from your opponent.
