Anyone have a weather update for 406? Snowfall? Also if anyone has had success yet in that WMU this fall yet? Cheers.

Have heared of a few elk comming out in september, but the weather has been less than perfect lately. Get in off the roads as far as you can and avoid the high traffic spots and there will be some game.

Thats a hard area to hunt whitetail. But while hunting a WMU 406 elk Draw many years ago ,I kid you not I saw a Big W\T buck in that wmu and his antler's were as Black as COAL,Pure BLACK.Still to this day i've never seen a black horned deer.,black horns just like a antelope buck.

Could'nt shoot him because it was a Draw wmu for W\T if memory serves me right?
