congrats on the draw.

Since I probably won't get my bull moose in 400 for another 8 years or so I can say that I have seen 2 bulls this year in 400 that walked all the way from Alaska to tease me.

Maybe this hint will help!

If you know where the plane did fall
You should follow the rebel call.
Climbing high your lungs will burn,
A watcher you will see if you turn...
Better hope you are not fat,
Facing the snowy side of a tufted cat.

Good luck with that awesome tag!

Well thats original..

Ok this is what I am getting, tell me if I am heading down the right way.

#1 South of a known crash site
#2 High up
#3 Something about a watcher.. Perhaps a mountain named down that way?
#4 a guy has to look north towrads the snowy side of a mountain.

Sounds like a great tag.

I saw 3 good moose by tent mountain in 400 so far this season. I was playing around with one of them and called him in to about 20 yards. I was sitting on the tailgate of my truck. Too bad I didn't have a camera. I don't think your wife will have any trouble filling that tag. Good luck

Well we had a great day, seen a lot of critters. Didn't realize that after 14 yrs of looking at Alaska Yukon moose, my wife has become a trophy moose hunter. We did see a pile of moose just nothing that got her excited yet. Would really like to thank everyone who gave us help. Hopefully we will be going out again this tuesday. Thanks again n if u do see a monster moose or a lost yukon moose pls reply cause man she is picky. Til later

I saw a beauty last year. Straight south of the ski hill on the old road and just before the camping/staging area. Really easy to get to.
