Thanks guys!
NDN, Foldo and I used fly rods and trolled large leech patterns, double shrimp and wholly buggers. The fish were consistently in 20-23 feet of water. The mighty Ayr Miller came along as well and had great success on spinning gear using a slip bobber and chrominid (sp?) or dragging a black jig on the bottom.
Cheers!

Yep, brookies from Maligne are the best I have ever had. The meat is very red, especially in the males. It seems to taste better every year

You will be fine in home bay. Fish the right hand side, a few hundred yards from the warden's dock. There is a deep hole near shore that holds lots of fish, and then there is a sandy point that schools of brookies patrol right along the weed line. You can catch fish anytime in home bay, just watch out for the tour boat wake!

Hey maligne! It was pretty busy the weeked before too. Especially considering the only good fishing was home bay. How was the water clarity? could you see 10 feet to the bottom clear as day or was it stained looking? Lake was in full turnover by last Sunday.
