Default Where to buy National Parks Permit?

Sorry this is such a basic question, but surprisingly, the governmental websites are terrible. The websites clearly explain that I need a parks permit to fish in a park.. but there's no information on where I can obtain such a permit.

Can someone clue me in?

Thanks

Chris

You will need a Park Permit and a National Park Fishing License.

Park gates or the park office. Depends which park you are going to fish.

Thanks hl649. Here's what I found so far: http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/pn-np/ab/ban...a.aspx#permits

I already have a 'WIN' fishing license.

But I also need the:
Park Pass - to get into the park, I can buy at the gate.

And the bit i'm struggling with:
'National Parks Fishing Permit'

Hopefully I can pick one up at the Banff NAtional Park Gate at 4am..!?

FYI, A WIN Card is provincial and has nothing to do with the National Parks, unfortunately.

Park gates (not 100% sure they are staffed at 0400) or regional office (which will definitely not be open at 0400) will sell licenses, if this is the time you are arriving, then I don't think any place (other then the gates) will be open (and gain, not sure if the gates will be staffed at 0400)
