Default Crowsnest Backcountry Flyfishin' Guide

Hi fellas, we are planning to try Crowsnest pass do you know a good guide in that area?

Stay away from the Café guy. I had a buddy that went with him and it was atrocious.

There are a few guides in that location, maybe your friend had someone when they were having a bad day or Murphy was with them all day long. Would not right any place off with one bad experience.

Agree. I guess it depends on what the previous poster meant by "atrocious". A bad fish day is often not the guide's fault. But if the guide was ignorant, etc., different matter.

I hired a guide/instructor last year, and while we didn't get into a ton of fish, I had a great time, learned a lot, and felt like I got value for my money.

if you know how to fly fish you probably don;t need a guide the river follows highway 3 with lots of access points get a map and go for it save your money for a float trip down some other river .
