Default Your Favorite Float Tube

What is your favorite float tube, and why. My budget is $500 max. Going to have to replace my old leaky falling apart belly Boat.

Recently got a fish cat 4 deluxe on the forum here and so far I like being out of the water. I used to have a belly boat and sitting ON the water is much more comfortable and warmer.

Also the V shape is pretty easy to move through the water.

The only negatives so far would be how easy it is to move also means that the wind will push you around more than you're used to.

Also sitting so high above the water when you kick (and least I tend to) break the water with my fins. Maybe I will get better at it over time.

Fish cat.
Been using tubes since 1984. Tried so many. Like the open front. Easy in and out
Out of the water more better for cold water not as much body in water

I have a Classic Accessories Togiak which I bought off a fellow on Kijiji...I like it but when I compared it to a Fish Cat 4 that another AO member has, the Fish Cat is better designed and worth the extra money....

I have a cheap Canyon Creek tube that I bought years ago...It's served me well.
