I called back 3 times before they blocked my #. They don’t like being harassed

I was getting the exact same thing actually both my wife and I were
so we stopped in to the local Rcmp office
and luckily as we were discussing this the same number with the same message called my wifes phone, we put it on speaker phone, let the two Rcmp officers listen to it ,
they said they would look into it, two days later these calls stopped, and have never heard from the number again

Tell them you are in the middle of J$@ing off but they have a pretty voice and ask them to keep talking. “ Oh yeah baby I’ll show you how to make a western union “ !!! Hasn’t backfired yet not sure what I’ll do when it does ?! Yikes. Makes em real uncomfortable though.

Or just answer with an air horn !!!

Two options that don't accomplish anything but are somewhat satisfying.

As mentioned before, use up their time by pretending to buy into their scam, acting afraid. If possible extend the call by agreeing to do their bidding but are too incompetent to do it right.

Once they answer blow a loud whistle in to the phone and if they are still on the line blame it on them.

Default air horn deterrent

I have pressed 1 then waited for the idiot on the other end to talk then speak really quiet asking if they can hear me. Once they are focused on trying to hear me I take an air horn and crank it off into the phone, always followed by by a "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?" LOL, haven't had a call back since.

Got a call from this number. Apparently, they claim they're ATB. NOT . I just kept saying Hello, till they gave up .

Me too!
I 'shiver and shake' and stumble over my words, and say "OK,OK, I'll go out right now and buy the iTune Cards! Please stay on the line and don't hang up or go away, and I'll tell you what I'm doing as I go along! Please don't send the police!"

Then I lay the phone down and go back to what I was doing.

After a while I can hear them yelling, from across the room, trying to get my attention.
I never timed it, but some take a lot longer than others to stop yelling and give up and end the call.

Never had many calls like that lately.

Had one on the line and played them real good. Got all distressed and said I can't go back to jail. I would rather die and on and on. Hit the pre-recorded gun shot on my phone and voila no more phone calls.

I find it helps to power my cell phone off for a couple of nights or more and it seems to slow down the calls .

We have a new contender today. 3 calls so far, but the day had just started. This one is just quite when you pick up and leaves an empty voicemail when you don’t.

Yesterday I received a total of 6 calls, all the same robo nonsense about my SIN being used for criminal purposes. The hilarious thing is that the last three calls all had United States as the location of the caller. Has Service Canada out sourced?

The number switched to a (519) for the last two calls and the Service Canada will put my SIN to jail message. Cut the day down at 8 called today.

We should run a thread like the gopher count one for these calls, lol.
