Looks like that time of year that rural mail boxes are getting hit. Watch what you are sending (gift cards, etc)

Seems to come and go in waves. Central AB got hit hard a while back with this stuff, eventually those responsible get caught and do their day or two in jail, then start back up again, sometimes in a different area. Rinse. Repeat.
Hard to for RCMP to do much about it when there's 3 or 4 of them working, and huge rural areas for them to patrol. Not that if matters if the thieves are caught, thanks to our superb "justice" system.

They are hitting the urban ones now too. Our neighbor was hit, but we were not and the boxes are next to each other. Go figure

This mail box thievery really makes me think... when our mailboxes where on the houses, a few would get robbed every now and then. But it was too much effort and risk for the bad guys to hit them all. It’s easier to go “where they all are” and get them all at once.

So the parallel is when the government requires a central lock up for handguns.
Imagine all those nice shiny guns all in one spot eh?
