Default Load for 300 Savage??

I would like to try a 165 grain nosler bt and 168 grain sierra hp over varget in my savage 99. I would like to try loading them over varget as I allready load for another calibre with it and the lyman manual shows it as the best powder for the 150 and 180 grain loads but doesn't list 165 grain loads. My other manual (Lee) has 165 grain loads but doesn't show any loads for varget. Does anyone have any load data for Varget with these bullets that they want to share OR is there a reason to not load these bullets in a 99?

The only data I can find for 165's and Varget is from Nosler's #6

Start load is 35.5gr.
Max load is 39.5gr.
Winchester case
WLR primer

You could also try calling Hodgdon, and ask their recommendations.
