Super Dave Osborne is one of my all time favourites, and he was hilarious on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Thanks for the comedy gold.

RIP Bob Einstein.

Reading the article I was surprised to learn he wasn't Canadian, I had always just assumed that as I'd see his skits on Bizarre with John Byner. Interesting too that he was Albert Brooks older brother.

I know of 3 people that have Dave for their first name and they are always being referred to as Super Dave for obvious reasons. There has to be many Daves out there being called Super Dave and all because of this one man.

That one was hilarious with the ambulance dragging him around. The one where he sat in a car while it went through a crusher was damn funny too.

He was also in one of the oceans 11 movies. His memory will definitely live on. I know I'll be looking for some episodes online tonight!

Man that’s a name I haven’t heard in over a decade! Sad to see another memory from my childhood pass on.

I liked his role in "Oceans 13" as Agent Caldwell.

I introduced my kids to SD this past fall through the wonders of YouTube. They couldn’t stop laughing at the “King of the Road” skit.

My favourite was always the “genuine Saskatchewan sealskin bindings” - kids these days seem lost when I try to make that reference.

X2, grew up watching his TV show. So fun to watch the botched stunts. You knew what was coming and still bust your gut laughing every time. The way he would talk & swear after being crushed etc was icing on the cake.

That was my favorite quote as well.

Bizzare was a great show all around, but Super Dave was the best part.
