Default First time hunter

Here's the scoop. this year is going to be my first time ever hunting. I believe I have everything in place from my gun to my general whitetail tag. I'm just looking for tips on hunting whitetail. Any tips/ tricks of the trade is appreciated.

Deer are what we call" fringe Animals" in that they really like the edges of meadows, etc
They also will travel along fence lines, coulees, at the bases of ridged .
The best time to see them there is morning and Erving but that does not mean they won 't be there at any time of the day .
Get permission ask the landowner questions about where he has seen th , ANC go from there
Try ANC hook up with an experience hunter here as well

Tips of the trade on hunting whitetails.

Well they can be tricky and tough, but they can also be easy peasy. Mostly depends on the day. That said do some research get to know you animal. Find out where they live and why. Figure out their habits of feeding, bedding etc. Do some scouting. Go for a walk in some likely looking spots.
