Haven't been there in years. Used to be pretty good thin crust pizza. Is Sepps still takeout only? We quit going there because there was no sit down option, either inside or out. I refuse to eat in my car and by the time you haul it all the way home, 35 minutes away, it is left over pizza.

Tony’s pizza palace makes good pizza

i'm pretty sure its still take out only.

There is also a new pizza joint opening up west coast inspired from a fellow fisherman here in edmonton. I'm super excited to eat and support it.
Its called birch and bear pizza.

Have heard from quite a few guys that they tried Guissepi's and really enjoyed it. Great food, reasonable prices and friendly service. Opens about 4 most days. Can be really busy Friday, Sat and is pretty busy most other nights. Apparently AO threads get read by lots of folks, the owners have noticed the influx of folks saying they read about the place on here.

That’s pretty much the same thing that Crotts Knives noticed from our knife thread. Kinda cool.

My friends rave about Coliseum pizza when we go there.

I hate pizza so I usually have a steak.. But they sure give the pizza high praise

Out of the extensive list provided so far, if you cant find a medium crust, heavy topping pizza you like then there probably is nothing in Edmonton that will be up to your standards. You are going to be stuck having to make your own.

Out of curiosity, other than Coliseum, which of the places recommended on this thread have you tried?

I have tried VP that some one recommend and its very good ,but they are take out only . Nice to sit down somewhere ,now that covid is allowing us to. Going to be a busy summer trying all the other great places that were recommended. Hopefully Royal will be next as that used to be my go to place in the 70s .

Spent that last few years making pizza at home because of covid . Plus being retired gave me something to do. Lol

I prefer Regular mozzarella over pizza mozzarella. I find pizza mozzarella to dry and regular mozzarella tastes better when cold.

Potential unpopular opinion..... but Steel Wheels pizza just off whyte. Literal hole in the wall/ground but for Korean bulgoki pizza on the cheap, it's damn good.

It has the cheese you are looking for JR. Try the Monty’s special, or Monty’s deluxe. Can’t remember which it’s called. It will be your go-to.

I'm a huge fan of homemade. Anti-climactic, I know. But nothing beats it.

Default Who makes the best pizza

If you want to get out of the city, and go for a bit of a drive one day, go to Tilleys Pizza in Tofield. Excellent pizza. Rated as one of the best in Canada. They are on the south end of Main Street.

Yup. When I lived in camrose (terrible pizza there), I’d order from tilleys and jump in the truck and when I hit tofeild it would be ready. Worth the drive. Tilleys in tofeild and Derwint whenever I was close.
