Default 2010 Alberta Wild Sheep Banquet

Just got home from the banquet and must say it was a pretty good show. Over 650 people, some great auction and raffle items and hunts and a pretty good meal. Met a few of our AO members that I can now put a face to.
Hope the rest of you had a good time!
Great job to all the directors that put this show on.

Being a first time attendee to the banquet I thought it was pretty good. Good food, refreshments and a good group of people.
The live auction dragged on a little long on a few items but still went pretty smooth.

I was actually suprised how many AO members were there. Most I had met before but there were a few I hadn't. Too bad no AO members won any of the great raffles.

Great evening out!! Just pulled in.... we took in the seminars as well so it made for an extra long day.
Good to see many AO members there. Glad to meet sheepguide and some of the others as well.
Was the first time for the group that I was with and I'm sure it now will become an annual event.
Got an expensive Lancaster dvd too

Anyone know the names of the raffle winners? I didn't get a call so "not you" doesn't count as a name.

i gave an honest go at the saddle... but ended up spending over $800 on 2 hats as a consolation prize, oh well the money goes toward something i truly love and want to ensure my kinds can do the same.

It was my first year at the show, and to say I was inpressed is an understatement!
The highlight for me was the talk and slide show that Tom Foss put on before the dinner. What a great hunter!!

See you all next year!

Yes indeed it was good meeting you too.
I still have a few batches of sausage to make in the next month or so. I will have to let ya know how it goes. I know one fella who has a water suffer and loves it. I will see how it compares to my mechanical one.
