About a half dozen years ago, or so.

Actually they are just Challenger shells. Challenger bought the trade mark.

Only in 12 gauge. They have 2 3/4 and 3” in both steel and lead shot. Note there is only 20 per box. I was using for awhile and notice there are better options if you want to save money.

I like those in 12 gauge #4 for a second shot on a flying away pheasant in case if the first shot was a miss.

Exactly, it fools people that think that they are buying 25. And we have had people show up to shoot trap or skeet, and then run out , because they didn't realize that the box only had 20 rounds.

So, buy the 500 gram package, or the box of 25 shotshells.
Marketing responds to lack of sales.
They aren't anything to do with CIL's old Imperial shotshells, they just bought the name.

Actually, they're capitalizing on the quality and nostalgia associated with an old brand, doesn't mean there's any resemblance to the original.

I’m sure we could share stories... Amazing I made it out of my early teens with all my appendages. And drugs or booze was never involved...just a real healthy dose of stupidity. Lol.

After my father passed away, I went through his ammunition and found several boxes of Supreme marked $2.77, and those were boxes of 25. I used them up shooting trap.

Those were in some boxes my parents gave me, stuff I left behind when I moved out 26 years ago. Probably from late 80's. I shot them trap shooting in the fall. The smell brought back some great memories! I always loved the smell of the supreme!

sad thing is, there are generations that will never get to smell a fired paper .410 hull,I get all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it.

Default Superior Canadian

I have some of these kicking around. I wonder how old? Still seem to work well
Made in Edmonton Alberta Canada. It would be neat to still have an Alberta shell manufacturer.

Used Imperial and Canuck and Dominion when I was a young guy in the 70s'.
My favorite brands.

Fired a lot of Imperial .22 LR out of my Browning Medallist target pistol at the indoor range in the basement of Eastglen High School in Edmonton.
(.22 target shooting ranges in high schools? Yup, they were common up until 1990 or so. In fact, it was a part of the Phys.Ed. and the School Clubs.)

I even bought brand new boxes of Dominion .455 Colt (Webley Mark 1) cartridges from Uncle Ben's Sporting Goods in downtown Edmonton for my New Service revolver when I was 18.

Those were better days to be a gun owner in Canada.

Jeez, I dunno.

I would cheerfully shoot 40 year old cartridges, but I would think twice about eating 40 year old bacon.
