Default Savage Ultralite Proof Barrel Measurement

Anyone have a new Savage Ultralite that could measure the muzzle diameter, have one chambered in 6.5 PRC on it’s way and I‘m trying to decide which Insite Arms Heathen brake will fit best. Thanks, Tim

My guess is 0.963 possibly as that is what their prefits are for Savage.

I'm assuming they are the same barrel...

Need the smaller one
Barrel diameter is smaller than my fierce carbon barrels
I tried it on the weekend

Insite has a .750 , .885 & .995 for the PRC. I was leaning towards the .885 if the muzzle diameter was large enough for a clean fit

885 was too big for my 6.5 creedmoor ultra light
Need the 750
You won’t be able to time the brake if you use the 885

Thanks for the info marky- are you happy with the performance of the Heathen brake?

Ya they work pretty good
They Deflect a lot of the blast away from the shooter
