Default Where to get boat insurance

Hey guys. I’m looking for who has the best deal. I need a company that insures for the USA as well. I’m in Calgary.

Could try Shelley at Portside In’s. in Kelowna. Just insured ocean boat, better coverage for less premium.

I use portside insurance and they have been good and reasonably priced but i've also haven't had to make a claim (knock on wood). Insurance companies are your best friends until you need them

Portside is the way to go. Far cheaper than anyone else and better liability.

I saved a bunch by not getting any . Been boating for 40 years saved a lot of money that is in my pocket not some insurance company
Should be able to buy two boats with the savings .

I did mine with Shelley at portside too. Only thing is I can't take my boat to USA and have insurance unless I change to a different company she said.

Same here. However, a rider on your household liability policy may cover non-family members in the event of an accident on the water.

One issue with boat insurance is that after 10 years the depreciation nears 100%
