Default Get to bottom of ram falls

I did a quick search but did not find the answer.

I've never fished directly below ram falls.
Is there a non life threatening way to get to the bottom?

I usually fish the cannon section further downstream.

Staying with friends at the campground and thought I might try it.

People do slide down the shale. Or walk downstream for about 15 minutes there Has been a path to pick your way down. The river might be high now.

Default down

I've slid down the shale a few times. Easy peasy. It's almost like boot skiing, The problem is getting back up. My brother and I jokingly refer to it as 'cardiac hill'. It's shale, so you seem to take a step up, and slide back down by an almost equal amount..The fishing never really was worth the slide down/hike up.

Getting down is easy. But if you want to fish 'directly' below the falls, it can be tough getting there as once you're down you havta scramble around a rock point directly above some deep pools, if memory serves. Once you get there, then you havta cast into the spray/wind caused by the falls.
