Rapala hook set up

So new to rapalas and just started fishing them on the bow. Do you guys change anything with hooks on them when fishing rivers? Swap trebles for singles, get rid of the front hook? What do you do to prevent snags and picking up weeds/ didymo?

Yep all the above. Just a single Siwash hook at back position. Works great. Might miss the odd hook up but dont lose to snags as much and easier to unhook fish re:C&R
