Default Old Man River Conditions?

We are thinking of fishing the Old Man this Friday. Can anyone comment on the water clarity / how the fishing has been? Will likely be in the upper portion. Thank you.

I was up there Saturday, fish are starting to get active. All the cuttys i caught we’re in the the deep pools and caught on nymphs. Bulls seemed to be a bit more active and feeding aggressively. Not many risers. Water was up a bit but visibility was excellent. Hopefully you get to hunt for some snouts.

FYI, all the rivers down south are in good condition - Oldman, Waterton, Belly, and St. Mary's. The Bow, Highwood, and Sheep are high and dirty.

Go be adventurous and figure it out.

Fish are taking dries. Lots of mayflys and stones are out and about.
