Most ever, probably 150 mule deer. Nothing when you consider I've seen 600+elk in the same field before. Gotta love when the Yellowstone herd heads north for the winter!!

A few winters ago there were hundreds of wt's feeding in the grain piles south of the siksika reserve.
This year, no snow, no deer, and the grain are in bags.

In all the years on AO, I've never known you to enter into hunting or
Deer conversations..
Is the ice too rotten for you to drive on fella?
Are the fishes not biting your hooks? Lost your touch??

Ps. Over 150 in a field in December near Tofield about 15 years ago.
It was nuts.

Lol X2 it's why I opened it. Had to see where this was going.

Biggest herd I've ever seen was on the highway south of wainwright. Couple hundred deer there March before last. They aren't kidding about the deer crossing signs.

Just saw 61 in a 1/4 section down in 132 on Sunday past...

That's what I could count, the ones I could see. Probably a half-dozen or dozen I couldn't see.
