Tournament Partner?

Hey fella's just thought I would throw this out there - If anyone is looking for a tournament partner for any upcoming tournaments this summer, i'd love to potentially be your guy. Of course I would pay my own way etc. I won't sit here and try to impress anyone by citing my fishing credentials lol, but when I say I've been fishing my whole life, I mean just that. I've been lucky enough to win a couple of smaller derby's but never been in any true tournament, whether that be an open-entry or pro-am type. There's no reason to be intimidated by it. In the end, it's just fishing, you against the fish, do what you know how to do and you'll be just fine. You don't need a $100,000 boat or a shirt with your name on it. If you've got a boat with a live well and a buddy, just enter yourself!

No one is going to share their honey hole or their magic lure with you lol, but 90% of the guys fishing tourneys will be more than happy to help you get started and show you the ropes so to speak. It's the best way there is to learn some new fishing techniques and meet some great people.

Read the rules, be prepared, pay attention, be courteous/friendly, talk to people/ask if you don't know, and you'll have a ton of fun.

Do you have any Winifred trips planned this year Ryan?

I'd love to team up for a tourney, but I don't have a boat. I have to borrow my dads or rent which isn't really practical for a weekend tournament.
