Tikka Spring delivery

So I ordered a left hand Tikka varmint in Jan. Vendor still has no news. Does anyone know at what time of year Tikka ships rifles out?

Since, Stoeger Canada (Tikka's Canadian Distributor) is aligned with Beretta USA, I'd suspect that the necessary import/export paperwork needs to be filed between our nations. This seems to be the roadblock to many special order scenarios. It's not a case of them shipping the desired firearm, it's often a case of waiting for enough firearms destined for Canada to make the process cost effective to send the shipment.

If you wanted expidited delivery, you should have maybe used an independat importer like Prophet River or IRUNguns....... of course this will raise the net cost of the item.

Shot show dealer specials and yearly booking orders will likely be set for the middle to the end of Q2 start of Q3 delivery. And that's if some sort of paperwork fiasco doesn't ensue with export/import processing.

I've got one on pre-order as well and was told May June delivery.

I was told 6 months minimum wait time for my order from Tikka. Probably would have gone pretty quick but I just didn't want to wait.
