Wilderness crowding. I once walked 4 miles into the back country to fish. Next thing I know a guy hops in the stream 50m up from me. Seriously???? There was nobody for 6km upstream of me and probably 20km downstream of me. But this jackhole had to dive in literally right above me. I know you can't expect solitude on many popular waters but when you hike an hour into the wilderness and there's km after km of fishable water up and down, there's no excuse for jumping in right above someone. Didn't that person hike 6km for solitude too? I don't get it.
Years ago we were camped in the Lost Creek area, my boys taking turns swimming and fishing. Some fellows came by as my boys were swimming and complained about them swimming in the hole they wanted to fish in. They were making it impossible to catch fish there. My oldest boy being a wise ass jumped out of the hole and first cast pulled out a nice fish. The other fellows didn't know what to say.

#5 The right spot for you fishing net so it doesn't catch on everything.

I thoroughly enjoyed this post! The only thing I haven't experienced yet were #4 and #6. #5 x 1000!!

My pet peeve would be the no pre-trip May long-weekenders. Easy to spot at the launch as they are the ones drifting just out of reach but right in the middle of the launch asking for a boost.

My favorite moment from a positive standpoint would probably be watching your buddy attempting to retrieve his "go-to" fly from the trees. We've all been there. Buts its more amusing when it isn't you.

Cheers

I know I should call the COs, but hesitate to do so.
Never hesitate. That's not called ignoring the regs. That's called poaching.

Stupid lottery clerk that doesn't sell me the winning ticket so I can become a professional angler...or angling bum

Wife laughing when she hears my lottery plans

People reading this on the forum...barely frowning and moving to the next post

Wondering why we don't have frequent posting prizes or reward card for posts so that rather that screaming about the giant fish I catch after winning the lottery and can mention it across multiple threads

People that feel that just because I am catching lots of fish that you have to come by and fish right beside me and grill me on what I am using.

People that are fishing on a lake with just the two of us and are rudely ignoring how many fish I am catching.

Wondering when Sony VR will come out with a bonefish and tarpon game so that I never need to leave home

People that shout trip pics trip pics

People that know fish need water to breath still keep them out of the water longer than 20 seconds...then wonder why they float or sink.

People that poach
