Dang Namit I would love to come down make a weekend of it , but the family is headed to Jasper from Thursday until Sunday , other wise id be down there , and I had promised to stay home with the pets , Should be an interesting 4 days home alone .

P.S. Jamie, I'd love to try shooting clays. I've never done it to be honest. Have a big ole field gun at home and I've never used it. Maybe I'm just overtired, but is there a time for this event too?

Hey guys...
My computer has been working sporadically at best for the past three weeks and I haven't been doing much surfing of the threads. Now that things are back up and running, I see I have missed quite a bit.
I would've loved to come out for the meeting tonight, but I already had other plans. Crap.
I will definitely try to make it out for the next one. Just wondering: since I haven't read the whole thread, is there a certain day of the month that you guys are planning on getting together...like the first Saturday of the month? Or any day for that matter? That way, the guys that are interested in making it can plan ahead and know exactly when to tell the wives that "they have to go see a guy about a thing."

Just getting home, and wanted to say that it was great meeting everyone and shooting the chit. Too bad the service SUCKED! Waitress was having one of those BAD menopause days...........seriously.
Shawn, good luck with the boys 'n the bears. Tell 'scope nose' that he'll be just fine.

I feel bad I've missed out!
So far, I've met Outlaw'd, 2Big4U, Rena0040, and Nestor. Mostly through gun and equipment purchases. 2Big4U helped me out huge with a spreader bar for my ice shack.
I'd be very pleased to buy those guys a round, and I know that I'd love to have a beer and spend a few hours BS'ing with most other guys on the forum!
Maybe next time. (the wife is away this weekend if anyone wants to get together this saturday!)

Sorry I missed you guys. I hope you all had a good time! What are everyone's thoughts on doing a meeting the first Saturday of every month? We could alternate between the North and South. BP's Crowfoot for the North and BP's in Avenida for the South. If there are some of us that want to get together before than, just throw it on the thread. We might even be able to get the "team" deals at BP's and if we have anyone who is a minor, we just meet in the restaurant.
