Default Lac Sante Burbot today.

Very slow on the burbs today. Only caught 1. Sees like the spawn must be done. Fished everywhere from 40' to 10'. 4' of ice, and can drive anywhere on the lake with a 4x4.

Saturday was dead. From 3pm to 9pm not even one bite. Others on lake reported same. Very strange. Did anyone try it today on Sunday and if was any better?

Poor lake has been hammered for the last few years. Ever since the word got out. Everyone just grabbed limits of 10 per day.
Too bad they didn't change the limits on this lake like a lot of other burbot lakes.
There used to be really good ones in there.
They are small (1-3 pounds) now. And few and far between.

Totally agree. Waste of time now.

Is it worth visiting this lake in the summer? Is it possible to even catch any from shore or by boat? Has anyone done that?
