Default Caution at Fawcett Lake

For anyone trying to get in a last day or two of ice fishing at Fawcett be aware of a methane gas hole that is about 5 feet in diameter and has open water. This hole is about five hundred yards due west of the public boat launch at Broken paddle on the east side of the lake.. Stay as far to the right as you can to get around this thing. There are a couple of tree stumps laying near the open water with orange flagging tape on them. Be careful.
