Default Ruger #1 Varmint and Browing Safari value?

I've acquired a Ruger#1V heavy barrel in 270 Winchester, it's in really nice condition and seen only a couple boxes of factory ammunition. What is the #1V worth, I've never looked into them a whole lot and there's limited info on line? There is also a Browning Safari on the Sako L69 receiver, blued/wood. This one is chambered in 308 Norma, can't find a thing online for it. It has a 5 digit serial #.

Thank in advance.

Most Ruger no. 1's these days are selling new for anything from $1500 to $2000 depending on the supply and demand of the setup. If its a hard to find chambering, in good condition, unique quality of the wood, who knows.

Is it Stainless or Blued action and barrel, walnut or laminated wood?

1V has the heavy barrel and the different scope mounts, someone might like it or dislike it for that.

I have owned 5 1v's in various cartridges.
To me they are a very special purpose rifle , unlike the other No1's
That being said , they are still a nice rifle anc if I could find one cheap enough I would buy it .
I have seen them from $900 up

The Browning safari depending on condition is worth 400$ on a good day.

PM me and I might take that burden away from you.

the five digit ones were especially notorious for breech failure, poor quality construction all around. 308 norma, is especially, thats why there isnt alot of them.........VEERY UNSAFE!!!
i will put it next to all the other unsafe firearms of that design in our collection.
let your conscience not be bothered.
$$404, act now and i will throw in a timmies rollup the rim coffee coupon.
